BRACE FOR RED ROM

BRACE FOR RED ROM
Romelu Lukaku was back on the scoresheet - twice - as Belgium were held 3-3 by Mexico at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels. The United forward, whose previous goal for club and country came during October's international break, restored his side's lead early in the second half after Andres Guardado's penalty had cancelled out Eden Hazard's opener.
LUKAKU LEVELS IT UP
Mexico then turned the contest on its head with a quickfire double from Hirving Lozano, only for Lukaku's second strike to make it 3-3 in the 70th minute. The Reds' no.9 was substituted for the final few moments as Liverpool striker Divock Origi, currently on loan at Wolfsburg, was given a late run-out in the thrilling friendly fixture.
VICTOR VICTORIOUS
The only competitive game featuring United players on Friday ended 1-0 to Victor Lindelof's Sweden against Italy. The centre-back played for the full World Cup play-off in Stockholm, as did club colleague Matteo Darmian for the vanquished visitors. Jakob Johansson's 61st-minute goal gives the Swedes something to build on for Monday's second leg in Milan.
INJURY BLOW FOR JONES
Phil Jones was the sole United star to start in a new-look England line-up, but he was replaced after just 25 minutes of the friendly match against Germany at Wembley after sustaining an injury.
PHIL DENIES CITY'S SANE
Reds defender Jones still played his part in the Three Lions keeping a clean sheet against the world champions, by heading Leroy Sane's effort off the line shortly before he left the fray to be replaced by Liverpool's Joe Gomez.
RASHFORD AND LINGARD LINK UP
Marcus Rashford came on for debutant Tammy Abraham after an hour and was joined on the pitch by Reds team-mate Jesse Lingard in the 86th minute. The duo combined to almost snatch an injury-time winner but the game ended 0-0 after Rashford's free-kick led to Lingard shooting over. Meanwhile, Ashley Young was an unused sub.
ANTHONY TRIUMPHANT
Anthony Martial helped France to see out their friendly 2-0 win over Wales in Paris, coming on for Olivier Giroud just after the Arsenal striker had scored his side's second goal in the 71st minute. Antoine Griezmann had given Les Bleusthe lead early in the first half.

MATIC RESTED AS SERBIA WIN
Nemanja Matic was rested for Serbia's friendly against China, with the midfielder being left at home for the trip to the Far East. Mladen Krstajic's side won 2-0 in Guangzhou thanks to goals from Torino's Adem Ljajic and Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.

WIN FOR BLIND AND FOSU-MENSAH
Former Reds star Memphis Depay scored the winner in the first half as the Netherlands beat Scotland 1-0 in a friendly at Aberdeen's Pittodrie stadium on Thursday night. Daley Blind (pictured) played the full game, while Tim Fosu-Mensah, who is currently on loan at Crystal Palace, also performed well as he featured for 72 minutes from the start.
REDS ON DUTY
So it was a good day for Henrikh Mkhitaryan (picture courtesy of Hrach Khachatryan) with Daley Blind and Tim Fosu-Mensah set to represent the Netherlands against Scotland later tonight. We'll have an update on how they fared on Friday morning.
MICKI ON THE MARK
Henrikh Mkhitaryan helped inspire Armenia to a convincing 4-1 friendly win over Belarus. He scored the second goal, firing under Aleksandr Gutor, after also being involved in the build-up to a superb team move.
MKHITARYAN HEAVILY INVOLVED
Furthermore, Mkhitaryan had a 41st-minute penalty superbly saved by Gutor, with the keeper also miraculously stopping Micki's follow-up, before Aras Ozbiliz nodded in the opener at the third attempt. Henrikh was substituted in the second half.
THREE REDS COULD PLAY TODAY
